"Thank you for taking a necessary training into a learning adventure. Your adaptability to translate the OSHA 10 training into Portuguese was most accommodating. I have to be honest, no one was excited about the 10 hour training, including myself. You made the training interactive and very fun for everyone in our group. We will be referencing the “family feud" style game for a long time. Safety first is our new motto."

OSHA training workers look forward to!
30 seconds with our Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer!
Steven St. Laurent, the Founder of Bridges Safety Institute, has a unique background of Safety Engineering and Spanish. Mr. St. Laurent is an International Speaker & Trainer who has worked professionally as a field engineer, consultant and OSHA trainer since 2000 in New England, New Mexico, Sicily and Mexico! He has carried out scores of OSHA training across four states for large and small construction and manufacturing companies. During Steve's two years in Mexico, he gained a command of technical jargon and slang in Spanish (especially Mexican words) that few professionals have. It would be a pleasure to help you in your OSHA training needs as well as any other language or cultural interface your company has with the Spanish language. Bridges Safety Institute also provides OSHA training online.
Table 1 below lists the topics covered in the 10 and 30-hour General Industry OSHA Training. Table 2 lists the topics for the 10 and 30-hour Construction Industry OSHA Training.
Both the 10-hour OSHA training and the 30-hr OSHA training are designed for workers, and therefore we emphasize hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention rather than the standards. We also offer each OSHA training online!

Bridges Safety Institute performs the OSHA training onsite at your company. If your location is too small or not available, we will host the OSHA training at one of our convenient locations. Bridges Safety Institute specializes in dynamic and fun OSHA training onsite, online and through video conferencing & web conferencing!
The number of people in an OSHA training is limited to 50. 25-35 is an ideal size, and our trainer has experience with everything from 2 people all the way up to 45. Anything can be accommodated. Contrary to some teaching endeavors, with larger class sizes there is an added value to the OSHA training. This is true because when there are more people there is almost always more participation and sharing of their on-the-job safety-related experiences. These experiences are very valuable to the success and safety awareness that each participant gains from the OSHA training. Online OSHA training is also available.
The 10-hr OSHA training is typically done in two sessions each lasting five hours. The 30-hour OSHA training is typically carried out in one week (Monday through Thursday). Any arrangement is possible; we will customize the OSHA training to fit your work schedule and shifts. OSHA allows us the flexibility to carry out the trainings over a 6-month period. So, as long as the entire OSHA training is completed within 6 months of the first session, completion cards will be issued. Don’t forget, online OSHA training is another option right through this website!
For the 30-hour OSHA training, some plants prefer having a full-day training once a month or once a week instead of the one, intense week straight through. We will accommodate any schedule that works for you. We can also do the OSHA training during first, second or third work shift! Please Contact Us for more info.
The pricing for the 10 and 30-hour OSHA training is below in Table 3. These prices include all course materials. There are no other fees unless there is (1) extensive travel; (2) more than 2 days for the 10-hr or more than 6 days for the 30-hr; or (3) the OSHA training is needed in a language other than English, Spanish or Portuguese.

In addition to the 10 and 30-hour OSHA training, Bridges Safety Institute gives 1 to 2-hour talks for school assemblies and management teams on any of the subjects listed below in the “Safety Training Topics” section. It is important for young teenage workers to understand their rights and responsibilities in the workplace, and what they should be receiving for safety trainings. Also, it is just as important for young workers to understand the protection the law affords them at work and what the law says about their employer’s rights and responsibilities.
In the same manner, often times HR professionals and other managers do not have a very good understanding of what OSHA is or what their responsibilities are regarding OSHA and OSHA training. Bridges Safety Institute customizes seminars to give an introduction and deepen employers' understanding of these issues. Please click here to view a Sample Outline of such a talk. This seminar and talk is a great combination of services because we offer OSHA online, via web conferencing and video conferencing as well!
As engineering, manufacturing and construction professionals, it is of the utmost importance to understand not only the safety regulations, but also to take proactive steps towards ensuring your safety and the safety of your employees. OSHA considers “good faith” as one of its factors when looking into the issuance of safety citations. So, regularly performing your own “company safety audits” as well as creating a corporate safety plan (and enforcing it) are wise and necessary steps to take.
Bridges Safety Institute does not perform safety audits or consult to help with writing a corporate safety plan; however, we will refer you to safety industry professionals that maintain the same caliber of excellence as we do. We have contact with consulting firms in the safety industry whom we trust. These businesses have worked with dozens of large and small companies, and they have personal experience with many of OSHA audits. Please call (978-549-8224) or email (ss1@bridgeslanguage.com) Steven St. Laurent to find out more information. At Bridges Safety Institute our focus is onsite OSHA training, online OSHA training, and web conferencing & video conferencing for OSHA training! Thank you for taking the time to read about our programs. Stay safe!
